Little Secrets
Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 08:03PM Boy crazy doesn't even begin to cover it. I used to go outside and look through my folder of torn pages of Devin Sawa, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Andrew Keegan, and many others. Keep in mind that at this time in my life I was way too scared to talk to real-life guys. So you see, imaginary ones several states away seemed to be the more logical route to take. Once I had a dream that I got to meet JTT and we just hit it off. I'm talking total soulmates from the start. I woke up in a total panic, grabbing my sheets and trying not to believe it was all a dream because it felt so real.
Now that I'm married, my celebrity crushes are a little more controlled. My own little secrets I keep under the surface. However, a few weeks ago I got caught. Matthew happened to glance over at me while we were watching a scene from Friday Night Lights (one with Taylor Kitsch in it) and my eyes were all sparkly and I was grinning from ear to ear. Woops. He then proceeded to make fun of me, causing me to turn as red as a strawberry. He should've seen me during Elizabethtown. Orlando Bloom...yes, melting as we speak.
I guess this only confirms Karr's quote "The more things change, the more they stay the same."
*Speaking of the same...recognize this location? haha. I promise I try not to repeat locations but if a customer requests it, then I think it's ok. And it was just too perfect for these vintage-inspired aprons.

Aren't these aprons so much fun?! Sugar Pie Chic is on Etsy and she creates the patterns and sews each of these individually. I just love them! I thought her patterns were perfect for Valentine's Day coming up. And I got extra excited when I started thinking what a perfect prop it would make for a kid's country-style session!
Leslie and Katie, the owners of Sugar Pie Chic, are offering a special discount to my blog readers -- if you order an apron from now and between Valentine's Day you will receive FREE shipping! Just enter the discount code "SPCRACHEL" in the Message to Seller box. Enjoy!!

These pictures are awesome! I love how you captured the colors so vividly! The aprons are adorable, and so is the model! (She's my sister in law!) My absolute favorite is the one with the stack of logs behind her and the hat sitting next to her on the ground. Good work!
Rachel, I'm laughing at your cute post. I can totally picture the whole situation with your hubby catching you smiling from ear to ear.
I've been with Mike for 15 yrs and now I'm at the point when watching TV, such as Grey's Anatomy, I just stare at Denny and tell my husband "BABE, Denny is so hot, I want him." No shame in my game.
Love reading your stuff. Sorry I've been so lazy with the blogging.
ps. I'm not a jerk or anything.........just hot with Denny! He's my fantasy man.
AWESOME aprons. Love the creative patterns and bright colors. You captured them perfectly at this location. WOW...great images.
